Turakella (Tura) is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Inspired by human nature and its adaptation to a rapidly changing world, she challenges collective preconceptions around intersectionality, identity, and belonging. Tura envisions a human being whose identity transcends rigid social associations and whose place in society is shaped not only by personal experiences but also by a connection to existence that extends beyond physical embodiment.
