ARTISTIC RESEARCH RESIDENCY

“Artistic Research Residency” stands as an initiative where the realms of art and science converge. In this unique collaboration, artists immerse themselves in the world of peatland scientists and histories, engaging in a direct and reciprocal exchange of knowledge. This approach aims to elevate our comprehension of living and researching in the Anthropocene, granting artists a vantage point to closely observe and glean insights from the expertise of scientists and vice versa. Responsive to the impacts of climate change, artists contribute creatively, offering nuanced perspectives on the multifaceted environmental crisis. At the nucleus of this interdisciplinary dialogue lies a commitment to principles of radical care, curiosity, and dignity, and to fostering a symbiotic coexistence with diverse ecologies. Together, we chart a course towards a profound understanding in addressing the challenges imposed by our changing environment.
