Vier künstlerische Werkstätten luden im Mai und Juni 2024 zur Erprobung experimenteller und künstlerischer Perspektiven in der entwässerten Moorlandschaft des Steinbeckervorstadt Polders. Diese Moorwiesen am Ryck wurden von Caspar David Friedrich um 1820 malerisch in den »Wiesen bei Greifswald« verewigt. Die für die Landwirtschaft entwässerten Moore verursachen hohe CO 2-Emissionen, ihre Wiedervernässung und ihr Schutz sind deshalb für Umwelt- und Klimaschutz zentral. Die eingeladenen Künstler:innen Juliane Tübke, Alison Darby, Lene Schwarz und Anett Simon und die die Dichterin Siljarosa Schletterer entwickelten gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmer:innen künstlerische und poetische Formen, um die Verbundenheit mit Moorökologien und unsichtbares Wissen erfahrbar zu machen, Gegenwart im Moor zu reflektieren und verkörperte Sichtweisen im Umgang mit der transformierten Natur zu entwickeln.

PEAToresk ist eine Kooperation der Projekte MoKKa und Sensing Peat der Michael Succow Stiftung, Partner im Greifswald Moor Centrum.
